The annual fishing trip out of Poole Fisherman’s Dock set forth on Friday 3rd August. A careful check of the tides had dictated that this evening would be perfect. A powerful spring ebb tide in the early evening is just what was wanted – the bass like to feed on the bits on the seabed stirred up by the strong water flow a spring tide brings. At the end of a fantastic evening, the tired fishermen returned home with their haul.
