 The ProblemPack a very fragile storage tank which is not only very heavy but large too. Further it had to be kept pristine for several years before use – ie no corrosion or dust ingress. The Solution First of all a case design had to be utilised which would provide the necessary strength for handling including internal bracing timbers to cradle the tank inside. Foil bagging including provision of desiccant (silica gel) was the answer to the climatic protection problem. The Outcome The tank could be moved with confidence across the World and when the case was opened it was fit for use straightaway. |
