Summary
Job Description: Production Packer & Case-Maker
Reports to: Production Manager Hampshire
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm with ½ hour lunch
Duties
- Support the Production Manager in meeting our customer’s expectations.
- Packing of customers’ items in a variety of modes, including sealing in foil, shrink wrapping, palletising & packing into boxes.
- Manufacture packaging to securely transport items to any area of the world, which includes the use of wood-cutting machinery and powered tools.
- Receiving in and loading out goods and materials, including the use of mechanical handling devices.
- General housekeeping duties and repairs of the buildings and equipment, used by the business.
- Deliver and collect goods and materials, using company vehicles.
- Any other reasonable duty that will edify and support the business.
- On occasions, it will be necessary to carry out any of these duties on our customer’s own premises.

- UK passport holder
- Full UK Driving Licence – with a minimum of Category B (vehicles <3500kg) entitlement

- Currently employed – or able to prove a very recent & reliable work history
- Experience of commercial packing
- Experience of warehouse environment
- Experience of sawshop environment
- Counterbalance forklift qualification
